About Peace Initiative Bhutan
Peace Initiative Bhutan (PIB) is a non-profit organization based in the United States of America. Its primary goal is to promote positive peace and reconciliation in Bhutan through mutual trust and understanding.
PIB is not adversarial toward the Government of Bhutan; instead, it seeks mutually beneficial solutions through sincere dialogue, compassionate listening, and active participation in a comprehensive peacebuilding process.
By bridging the existing gap between the Government of Bhutan and the Bhutanese in the diaspora, PIB plays a positive and constructive role in fostering understanding, dignity, and reconciliation for a better future.

Why Reconciliation?
Peacebuilding and reconciliation is considered to be the best approach to building sustainable peace in Bhutan. By addressing the root causes of conflict and promoting social and economic stability, these efforts can help to create a more secure and prosperous future for all Bhutanese citizens.
